Owner's Personal Statement
Bill Parks, CDT. Bill Parks, CDT, received his initial laboratory training in 1972 in the USAF. He is the owner of Precision Dental Designs, a certified dental laboratory, located in Anchorage, Alaska, specializing in comprehensive restorative techniques. He is co-founder of The Alaska Academy of Dental Technology which sponsors continuing education courses for dentists, technicians and fisherman. He is one of 27 dental technicians worldwide that are accredited members of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Bill has lectured throughout the United States and Canada on fabrication techniques for IPS Empress, Authentic and Noritake porcelain systems. He has authored numerous technical articles for laboratory trade magazines, trouble shooting common challenges to the modern ceramist. His passion for the work has lead him to study under many of the masters in the field of dental technology. At its roots, the dental industry lives and breathes precision. When you think about the incredibly precise details found on natural dentition, to craft a restoration that easily blends in is no easy feat. It takes a skilled technician – like those at Precision Dental Designs – to fabricate a lifelike restoration. Our highly skilled technicians are experts in the area of cosmetic dentistry and single tooth replacement. Working in close relationship with patient and doctor, we have achieved a high level of acceptability of our finished anterior restorations. We furnish a cosmetic checklist to our clients which I believe enhances the communication necessary to produce a consistent excellent result. With our experience, we strive to maintain a high level of consistency by incorporating all areas of dental technology. Our vision is to remain a resource for the technologies you need and the skills that your patients expect. Our overall mission is to provide a quality product at a competitive price and in a timely fashion.
